The friendly and welcoming staff make you feel right at home. And let's not forget about the delicious breakfast, served around a communal table, which adds a special touch to the overall experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Bodkin House, a beautiful well-loved inn. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the family room was large and comfortable. The location was perfect for us to get out into the country, with play equipment and green fields for the kids. The breakfast had a good variety, and the staff were welcoming. The addition of a fan in the room was much appreciated. The hotel's location was ideal for our overnight stopover, close to both the M4 and M5. Candlelit dinner was excellent. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We loved the friendly staff and their personal touch, from being greeted by Don to the attentive service in the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable with lovely extra touches like the book of Bronte poems. The restaurant exceeded our expectations with amazing, delicious food. As vegetarians and vegans, we were impressed by the variety of options available. The hotel's dog-friendly policy and spacious grounds made it perfect for walks with our furry friends. We were also able to enjoy all our meals outside with our dogs, which was a great bonus. The bar food was tasty and reasonably priced.

The charming 17th-century inn exceeded our expectations with its beautiful decor and modern amenities. We were blown away by the delicious full English breakfast and the friendly staff. The hotel's dog-friendly atmosphere made traveling with our pet a breeze. The location was perfect, not too far from the M5 but surrounded by beautiful countryside. The family room provided ample space for us with comfortable beds. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel's location was fantastic, being close to other areas of interest and providing a relaxing country experience. The service from the staff was excellent, with warm and friendly interactions. The basic amenities in the rooms were perfect, including complimentary toiletries and unlimited tea and coffee.

We were warmly welcomed at Bodkin House and were impressed with the Family suite, which provided a separate bedroom for our teenagers. the hotel is dog-friendly, allowing dogs in the bar area, which has a lovely stone floor. the bar also served delicious, freshly cooked meals, including options for vegetarians and Steak nights on Thursdays. We appreciated the spaciousness of the bar and the adequate distancing between diners. the hotel has spacious gardens at the back, which would be even nicer in the summer.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was a fantastic experience! the festive atmosphere was incredible, with beautiful decorations throughout the property. the traditional Christmas dinner was delicious, and the staff was accommodating and friendly, making sure everyone was happy and satisfied. the location was perfect, situated in a picturesque village, with easy access to nearby attractions and scenic countryside walks.

The rooms were a bit outdated and in need of some updating. the bathroom was small and cramped, with a shower that could have been cleaner.

The breakfast was well cooked, and we enjoyed a delicious dinner. The staff were welcoming and the hotel was very dog friendly. Great location and homely atmosphere.
