I stayed at this warm and welcoming hotel for two nights with my family. We received a friendly welcome and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions. The room size, decor, and layout were impressive, and the bathroom had good lighting and USB connectors for charging devices. The views from our window were beautiful. The dining room was well-equipped with a microwave and fridge. The information folder was useful, although one of the recommended pubs for dinner had closed down. Despite a few minor issues like the dated shower and limited internet access, the hotel provided ample off-road parking and a safe environment. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable and the hotel facilities met all our needs. There was plenty of parking available, which was a great advantage for us. The hotel also provided an electric kettle in the rooms, which was a nice touch. The location was perfect as it allowed us to easily explore and visit many interesting places within a short drive. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

For just £52, my partner and I enjoyed a spotlessly clean and comfortable room, complete with a tasty full English breakfast. The location of the hotel, just off the A17, was perfect for our long-distance journey, and the tranquility and ample parking made our stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was warm, spacious, and had lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The attention to detail, such as the provision of tea and coffee, was much appreciated.

The hotel was clean and had great facilities. The room we stayed in was a nice size and had everything we needed. The location was ideal, right off the main road with plenty of parking. It was not far from the city center and also convenient for a road trip, as it was a short drive to other nearby destinations. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing a warm welcome and offering breakfast even though we were up early.

Loads of parking available, which was a relief. the friendly greeting from Hazel made us feel instantly welcome. Our room was fantastic, especially with the extra side room for the kids' beds. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the table and chairs and the fan in the room. the view of the garden was an added bonus. We were so impressed that we've already booked a return stay in August!

While the bed was nicely decorated, there were too many fussy bits on it, particularly the fluffy long hair cushion. It would be better if the sink in the room could be screened off for more privacy.

We had a comfortable stay at the lodge. The room was tidy and had a shower, perfect for getting ready for a wedding. The owner was attentive and accommodating, meeting all our needs. The breakfast options were great, and we ordered the evening before. The lodge had plenty of parking and was located near a lovely pub called the Barge, which was convenient for a stroll. we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
