We got amazing value for our money at Bowen House in York. The room was cozy and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the bustling center with plenty of pubs and restaurants to explore. The owners were incredibly friendly and gave us fantastic recommendations for things to do nearby. The breakfast was abundant and delicious.

One downside is that there is no lift in the building, so if you have difficulty with stairs it could be a challenge.
