From the moment I walked in, the hosts made me feel so welcome and went out of their way to ensure I had a great experience. The room I stayed in was spacious and had been recently decorated to a high standard. It was so cozy and had all the amenities I needed, including a kettle for tea and coffee. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was impeccable, and I was impressed by the modern decor throughout. The location was perfect, as it was just a short walk away from the town center and the beautiful lake at Bowness-on-Windermere. This made it convenient for exploring the surrounding towns as well.

During my recent stay at a charming guesthouse in the heart of Bowness, I was pleasantly surprised by the personalized touch of receiving a text message before my arrival, ensuring that my room was ready. The room itself was beautifully presented, with modern furnishings that added to the cozy and comfortable ambiance. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing helpful recommendations for local dining and entertainment options. They even went above and beyond by finding champagne glasses for us to enjoy a celebratory Prosecco. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the main high street.

While there were very few drawbacks to my stay, I would have appreciated a slightly later check-out time. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a few hooks in the bathroom to hang damp towels.

Our romantic escape was perfect! the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with plenty of recommendations. the location was key, with shops and pubs just round the corner. We loved the fresh water left outside our room every morning and the bay window with a comfortable sofa to relax on was a nice touch. the room was bright, clean, and spacious, recently decorated to perfection.

The shower temperature and pressure sometimes fluctuated, which we suspect was caused by other guests using their showers. the shower door didn’t fully close, but no water overflowed.

The location was perfect, as it was on a quiet street just around the corner from the high street with shops and places to eat. Additionally, it was very close to the lake, which made it convenient for us to explore the area and take the ferries to other towns on Lake Windermere.

This hotel was in a great location, just a short walk away from the town centre and the lakeside of Lake Windermere. Despite being surrounded by other properties, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, offering assistance with our luggage and providing us with a warm welcome. The rooms were immaculate, very clean and tidy, and had a modern feel to them. The bed was really comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the shower was spacious and modern. We also enjoyed the nice view from our window.

Parking was a bit of an issue as it was located up a hill.
