As a tourist, I loved the prime location just steps away from Old Shanklin's charming Main Street and the beautiful beach. The thatched cottages added to the picturesque setting. The friendly couple who runs the hotel made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast, included in the room price, was tasty and the same English breakfast every day was fantastic. The room itself was clean, warm, and had big windows that let in plenty of natural light. It was also great that they welcomed my pet dog. excellent value for money.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the center of the old town and just off the main road. It was so convenient to have everything within easy walking distance, including cafes, restaurants, and shops. The hotel facilities were excellent, with clean and well-appointed rooms. The breakfast was delicious and kept me full until lunchtime. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms with plenty of storage. the location was great, with shops, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance. I also enjoyed the private car park, it was convenient to have a secure place to park my car.

Braemar Bed & Breakfast was just a few seconds walk from the high street and the top of the chine, as well as the Crab Inn and all the local eating places. The owners, Mary and Kelly, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast menu was impressive, and the cleanliness of the rooms was top-notch. With on-site car parking available, Braemar Bed & Breakfast truly deserves a much higher rating from me. I recently had a delightful stay at a charming bed & breakfast in Shanklin. the hosts at Braemar were simply wonderful. Claire and Bos were friendly and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit. They even had extensive knowledge of the Isle of Wight, despite not being from there originally. I was impressed with their attention to detail, as they provided me with leaflets and information about the area. the breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised that they even provided sausages for my dogs! Claire and Bos went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met, and I can't thank them enough. the bed in my room was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I highly recommend taking a walk through the garlic farm with your dogs, it's a must-do activity. don't miss the sunflower fields on the garlic farm's grounds. the location was also excellent, with the beach and the old thatched tearooms just a short walk away.

Additionally, the well-cooked breakfast had plenty of options to choose from. a great value for money stay.

The rooms were impeccably clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities available. the breakfast options were varied and delicious, with a traditional choice that satisfied our taste buds. the location was superb, conveniently situated in the heart of the old village, making it easy to explore the shops and find plenty of dining options. the proximity to the beach and other attractions made our stay even more enjoyable.

If I had to nitpick, the narrow driveway and limited parking spaces proved slightly challenging, especially for those with larger vehicles. However, it's worth noting that even larger cars managed to navigate the drive successfully.

The rooms were well-maintained and had nice comfortable beds. I loved the outside decked balcony, it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. The breakfast was delicious, especially the perfectly poached eggs.
