We booked Braeside Retreats Villa for a much-needed child-free weekend getaway. the location was incredibly convenient, allowing us to make the most of our time without spending it on the road. the chalet itself was perfect - well-equipped for cooking and BBQs, comfortable beds and living area, and excellent responsiveness from the owner.

The pods are spacious and well-designed, with thoughtful details like USB charging ports and light switches in convenient locations. The hot tub was a luxurious treat, especially at night under the starry sky. The hosts provided great recommendations for local takeaways, and the Chinese cuisine was incredible. it was a memorable experience and I can't wait to return.

I had a wonderful stay at Braeside Retreats. The location was perfect, close enough to town for convenience but far enough away for peace and quiet. The pod itself was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the coast. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind in the evening. The property is also conveniently located near the NC500, allowing for plenty of sightseeing. I especially loved the secluded beaches where my dog could run and play. The communication and instructions provided by the hosts were detailed and helpful. The amenities provided, such as bedding and utensils, were of great quality. The shower was powerful and the hot water was plentiful. I must also mention the comfortable double bed and well-equipped kitchen. Despite a few minor drawbacks like limited storage space and occasional WiFi issues, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Braeside Retreats for a peaceful and idyllic countryside getaway. I had a fantastic experience.

We loved our stay here and are already looking forward to coming back again. the location was ideal for peace and quiet, but also just a short drive away from Thurso for any essentials we needed. There were nice spots for walking and exploring nearby. the facilities in the cabin were excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfy bed, and great shower. the hot tub provided a lovely view across to the water. We also appreciated the option to order a breakfast pack from the local butcher. the value for money was very good, and we would recommend Braeside Retreats Villa as a great base to explore the area.

The only minor improvement that could be made is adding a small drawer for clothes in the pod.
