The location of the hotel was great, right in the town center, close to a variety of restaurants for the evening. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views overlooking the fells. The bathroom was modern and clean, with both a bath and separate shower. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing a delicious breakfast made to order.

The decor in the hotel was a bit dated for our taste, including the crockery, room decor, robes, towels, and bedding.

The hospitality at this B&B was top-notch, with the owners being incredibly welcoming and accommodating. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, especially the locally sourced eggs. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the town center with plenty of shops, restaurants, and pubs to explore.

While the decor was a bit dated, the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. the check-in time of 4pm felt a bit late, especially during the winter months when it gets dark earlier.

I highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting the Lake District, and I would definitely stay here again myself. it was a wonderful experience.

The location is superb, being in the heart of the town with plenty of options for dining just a short walk away. Despite its central location, it is surprisingly quiet and secluded, offering a peaceful retreat. Additionally, there are beautiful walks right from the front door, so no need to rely on a car for exploring the area. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, they were so helpful and even upgraded us to a ground floor room to accommodate my wife's limitations. We were very grateful.
