I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful chalet-style holiday house. The colorful and artistic decor added a vibrant touch to the space. The wet room style bathroom with a tiled shower was excellent. The cottage was clean, welcoming, and perfect for the artistic and ambient soul. The property was well-equipped with amenities like a stereo system with CDs, board games, DVDs, and books. The thoughtful touch of providing milk, biscuits, and coffee/tea was greatly appreciated. The location was peaceful and private, and the proximity to the donkey sanctuary added to the charm. The communication with the owners was reliable and helpful.

The cottage was cosy and clean, with really comfy beds and plenty of storage for clothes. The hosts had even decorated the cottage for Christmas, which added a lovely festive touch. We were welcomed with a welcome basket that included tea, coffee, milk, and mince pies. The fact that the cottage was dog-friendly was a huge bonus for us, and they even provided a dog bowl and treats. The location was ideal, only 10 minutes away from the town, making it easy to visit our daughter who lives there.

The seating in the cottage was quite uncomfortable and hard, making it difficult to relax and spend time indoors. Additionally, there was a smell of damp, even though there were no visible signs of it.

Great location near Sidmouth Center, well-equipped kitchen and bedrooms, comfortable bed, electric meter lasted entire stay, outdoor picnic table, dog-friendly with treats and bowl provided.
