The staff were incredibly welcoming and immediately made us feel

at home. The communal lounge was a cozy spot to unwind after exploring Bath, and the breakfast options were delightful, especially for vegetarians. However, the stairs to our room were quite steep and could be a challenge for some guests.

the moldy smell in my room was delightful, really added character. the noise from the street, oh, how charming! it woudl ve been lovely to have an upgrade for my troubles but instead, received nothing. such a missed opportunity to impress a guest of my caliber. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the eggs benedict.

However, the peculiarly pungent odor in the sitting room was more 'laundry day' than 'luxury stay. ' And finding our room was like a game of hide and seek, but I’m not that good at it!

the charming decor felt a little outdated, just a touch of a time warp. also, no staff during late hours, how quaint! i expected a complimentary upgrade since it was a special occasion but instead got a cramped room. oh, and the shower? i'm still stuck at wondering how tall people are supposed to fit in that tiny space!

Consider requesting an extension cable in advance if your room lacks bedside outlets for charging devices.

stayed in a large king room, which was spacious and incredibly clean. the homemade biscuits were a delightful touch my kids loved! it’s just a short walk to local attractions too, making it easy to explore. breakfast had a great selection, especially the amazing cooked options!

The brekkie was on point with a lekker hamper delivered to our door! Room was stunning, like a dream—super comfy bed, just what you need after a long day of exploring! The location was also fab, easy walk to all the cool spots in town.

I had a cozy night in a charming guesthouse, enjoyed the delicious breakfast (definitely try the cooked options! ), but the room was a bit darker than in the photos.

the location is superb, a short stroll to attractions. the guest lounge area is lovely, with a cozy fireplace. breakfast choices are varied and delicious. staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

parking can be tricky , and street noise may disrupt sleep.
