Lumpy bed made it hard to sleep.

This hotel is excellent for accessing the stunning countryside surrounding it, with numerous attractions within a short drive. Located just off the main A1, it couldn't be better for exploring the area at a leisurely pace. The rooms are enormous with great facilities, including a lovely sitting area and a piano. The garden area with three summer houses provides multiple outdoor seating options. The breakfast, lovingly prepared by Mandy each morning, is incredibly tasty and the perfect set up for a day of exploring.

We had a lovely stay at a charming farmhouse. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed exploring the extensive, well-stocked gardens. We even had the bonus of encountering two roe deer during our stroll. The large bedroom, bathroom, and own entrance lobby made us feel self-contained, and the well-furnished lounge was a great place to relax. Mandy, our hostess, was perfect and made our honeymoon stay even more special. The stunning house, along with little added touches like a congratulatory card and wine, made it a perfect end to our trip. We definitely plan on returning to this area because there's just so much to see and do! Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
