My stay at Brothersfield Cottage was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage, built in 1781, exuded charm and felt surprisingly spacious. With comfortable beds, a large living area, and a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, I was able to relax and unwind. The tranquil location, overlooking Brotherswater Lake, offered a perfect backdrop for a peaceful retreat. Ample parking was available, and I appreciated the option to use the fireplace, with logs provided for a small fee. The cottage even had a TV with free Sky channels and a DVD player, ensuring entertainment during my stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage. The cozy living area and spacious kitchen were perfect for our group of 10. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We also appreciated the availability of a bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs, providing convenience for everyone. The location, with Brotherswater Lake right in front, was simply breathtaking. Ample parking space was a great bonus, and the hotel facilities, including a washing machine and coin-operated dryer, were very handy. It was also wonderful to have the option of purchasing logs for the fireplace on an honesty basis. Lastly, the TV with Sky free channels and DVD player provided entertainment during our downtime.

The cottage is a charming and cozy 240-year-old place to stay. It comfortably accommodated our group of 10. The location is lovely, with a lake right in front. There is ample parking space available for cars. The beds were comfortable, and the living area was spacious. One great advantage was the lack of internet connectivity, which allowed us to truly disconnect and enjoy our Christmas getaway.

Finding the cottage can be a bit tricky if you're not familiar with the area. It's easy to miss, especially if you approach from the north on the A592.
