We stayed as a group of 5 women and loved our time at the Brown Cow. The cottage is spacious, immaculate, and has lovely views. We were impressed by the fresh milk, bread, butter, and cereal provided upon arrival. The largest portions of food we've ever seen were served at the pub next door, and the meals were perfect and delicious. The staff was friendly and the service excellent. Excellent value for money and a perfect mini break. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at a lovely, cosy cottage in a great location near the Safari Zoo. Brown Cow Cottage exceeded my expectations! From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The lounge was cosy, the kitchen was fully equipped , and we even had access to a small garden. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and modern. The hosts were fantastic with communication and even resolved an issue with the TV. it was a fantastic accommodation for our family of five, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cottage in Dalton in Furness. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and spaciousness of the cottage. It was evident that it had recently been renovated and it had been done so beautifully. The cottage was equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely, spotlessly clean cottage. The cottage was larger than we expected and had all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and modern shower room. The garden was a big bonus, especially since we were traveling with our dog. The staff at the pub next door were friendly, and the meals were hearty and good value for money. The cottage's location below the old church and castle remains added to its charm. It was an ideal base for exploring the southern area of the Lakes, with plenty of walks right from our doorstep.

I had an amazing experience at this cosy cottage. It was very clean, comfortable, and had a well-equipped kitchen. The location was peaceful and quiet, despite being next to a pub. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's also a great base for exploring the Lake District National Park. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night. The cottage was like a little Tardis, and had everything I needed. The thoughtful touches, such as providing bread, milk, butter, eggs, and cereal, were much appreciated. a gem of a place and I'll definitely be back.

The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas and visiting the Safari Zoo. we had a wonderful mini break and would highly recommend this accommodation.

The cottage was surprisingly spacious, with 2 bathrooms including a lovely bath. I especially enjoyed the addition of a garden and a balcony off the master bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for our short stay. While there weren't any tea/coffee facilities provided, we found a local shop nearby to pick up supplies. the cottage was clean, comfortable, and ideally located for exploring the lakes.
