Lovely Dining Experience and Hospitable Staff

The meals were delicious and the dining area had a nice ambiance, enhancing the overall experience. the staff, particularly in the dining room, were very hospitable, adding a personal touch to our stay. Although some areas may need redecoration, the nostalgic atmosphere of the hotel made for a comfortable stay. A suggestion for improvement would be to address the need for redecoration in public areas.

enjoyed a lovely long weekend in peterhead and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and friendly staff at buchan braes. breakfast spread was impressive and the lounge area was comfy. the location and appearance didn't do justice to this gem of a hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always willing to help. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The restaurant served excellent food, with a great variety of flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The breakfast, although not included in the price, was delicious and provided a good start to the day. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. The large TV and spacious work area were a nice touch. the service and quality of this place were top-notch.

Although the prices for food and drink were a bit high, I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The minor issue of the high prices did nothing to detract from my overall experience.

Buchan Braes provided us with great rooms that were spacious, clean and comfortable. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and spoiled. the food exceeded our expectations, offering a higher standard than typical hotel fare. We were so pleased with our experience that we have already booked our next trip.

We had an amazing stay at this place. The staff at the reception desk provided excellent service, making us feel warm and welcomed. The hotel's location in ex RAF quarters away from communal areas was ideal, offering a peaceful and private atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we could possibly need, including ironing facilities. The flat-screen TV and sitting area added to the overall comfort. The hotel also provided free toiletries, an electric kettle, and an AM/FM alarm clock. The dining restaurant served delicious food that was well-presented, and room service was available for a convenient dining experience. The leisure garden area provided a relaxing outdoor space, and the free Wi-Fi and parking were added conveniences. our experience was beyond expectation and we highly recommend this venue for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The premises were great, with comfortable rooms and excellent food at both dinner and breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful, catering to all our needs. Also, the location was ideal, being well signposted off the main road and easy to find.

The service declined massively in the evenings, with staff seeming to be quite dismissive towards us after 9 pm. It was a hassle to get food and drinks, and we felt like a burden despite spending a decent amount of money. Additionally, the neighborhood surrounding the hotel did not offer an attractive aesthetic, which may put off potential guests.

We had the pleasure of staying at Buchan Braes and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel, situated in an unusual location within an industrial estate, was surprisingly comfortable. The food was exceptional, far surpassing the typical hotel standard. We were particularly impressed with the scrumptious Mother's Day celebration meal and the attentive service provided. The rooms were clean and spacious, offering a relaxing atmosphere. Although the bathroom was a little cold, it wasn't a major issue for our short stay. The only other drawback was the intermittent WiFi connection, which proved frustrating for getting work done. However, we were assured by management that they are actively working to resolve this issue. Despite these minor inconveniences, our overall experience at Buchan Braes was delightful and we highly recommend it.
