The hotel is located in a quiet residential area just back from the Cliffs, making it a peaceful spot to stay. Spent my Christmas at this hotel. Was pleasantly surprised by the great view of the sea from my room. Loved the cozy fireplace in the lobby where I enjoyed a hot cup of cocoa. the breakfast was decent and had a small selection of pastries.

The room was not clean, and had a strange odor. the bed was uncomfortable and had lumpy pillows.

The hotel's location was perfect, just seconds from the sea front. The room, especially the accessible one, was superb. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The check-in process was easy and efficient. The complimentary upgrade to a double suite was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast options were varied and delicious. The new dining room was a nice addition to the hotel. The hotel had a traditional English south coast charm.
