just returned from an overnight stay in stratford-upon-avon and our experience at burnside surpassed our expectations. from the attentive staff, especially minty, to the beautiful and well-maintained superior king room, everything was superb. the added personal touches, like the designated makeup removal cloth and heart-shaped dnd sign, made our stay memorable. would highly recommend!

The breakfast selection could have been better.

We recently enjoyed a romantic escape to a beautifully renovated old manor house. the rooms were spotlessly clean and our en suite had a lovely powerful shower. We were pleased with the bar serving lighter meals and the fantastic restaurant. the location was perfect, with key attractions such as Anne Hathaway's Cottage only a few minutes walk away. Another great advantage was the friendly and helpful staff, always available to assist.

the meagre facilities such as the small bar and lack of lounge were expected given the high price point, but still disappointing. the rooms were also smaller than the website images imply, and soundproofing was lacking which made for a noisy stay.

The hotel was faultless. Staff, cleanliness, facilities, and evening meal were all amazing. Owners were lovely and attentive. Minty was friendly and went out of her way to chat. Spacious, immaculate, and comfortable room. Perfect meal and breakfast with great service. Beautiful decor and welcoming staff.
