I absolutely loved my stay at this cottage! It was clean, comfortable, and had modern facilities. The internet was fast and reliable, and parking was a breeze. The location was perfect, just a short drive away from the town and an ideal base to explore the beautiful Lake District. The convenience store at the petrol station nearby was a bonus for any last-minute needs.

We had an amazing time at this lovely cottage nestled in a peaceful village. The location was superb, close to major attractions but far enough away from tourist noise. We enjoyed morning coffee in the tiny entrance garden and even found a gas station nearby where we could get fresh croissants. The hosts were lovely and made us feel at home. The cottage itself was quirky, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Parking could be a bit tricky with a big vehicle, but once we got used to it, it was fine.

The owners are welcoming and provide thoughtful amenities like tea, coffee, and biscuits.

The nearby local pub lacks atmosphere and feels more like a restaurant than a traditional country pub.

The location of this cottage is fantastic, with a charming pub just a stone's throw away and convenient access to bus stops for exploring the surrounding area. The cottage itself is immaculate, with all the amenities one could ask for, including a washer/dryer and a cozy bath to relax in after a long day of walking. The owners were also incredibly helpful and attentive, always available to assist if needed.

The water in the bath didn't run hot enough for a long soak, although the shower provided plenty of hot water.

Just returned from a stay at this amazing little cottage! It truly is a hidden gem. the owners were lovely and so helpful throughout our stay. the cottage itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. the bed was fab, and the quirky touches added to the charm. the location couldn't have been better, with a stream right outside and stunning walks for our dogs. We're already planning our next visit!
