As bike riders, we loved the convenient location of the guest house, just a short walk from Le Petit Chateau. The room was spacious and comfortable, with great facilities including a TV with Netflix and plenty of tea and coffee. The breakfast provided was delicious and set us up for a day of cycling.

We felt right at home at Butterchurn Guest House and had no complaints about our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The room was more like a spacious studio apartment, spread over two floors with a cozy lounge area. It was beautifully decorated and meticulously clean, creating a homely atmosphere. The stunning views of the hills from our window were simply breathtaking. We were also impressed by the option to enjoy our breakfast outside in the lovely garden, surrounded by the peacefulness of the valley behind the house. The staff here were extremely welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The service was top-notch, with the owners even going out of their way to accommodate special requests like buying beans from the shop just for us. We only wish we had stayed longer!

The B&B was kept clean, with friendly staff offering a great and satisfying breakfast. the bedroom was warm and with great furnishings. the location was central with ample space for my German shepherd to run around.

The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, with beautiful bathrooms. the breakfast menu had a good variety, including a choice of cereals, toast, and a full English or salmon and poached eggs. the location was convenient for attending a nearby wedding and there were plenty of local walks to enjoy.

The mattresses could have been more comfortable, but overall, everything was perfectly lovely.

The shower door in one of the bathrooms didn't close properly, leading to a wet bathroom floor.

Traveled with a group of friends for a wedding reception. Warm welcome, clean and comfortable rooms with a lovely countryside view. Good breakfast choices. Pleasant and accommodating host allowed early check-in. On-site parking available. Great location, amazing staff, and delicious food. Lovely decor, peaceful sleep, and a delightful surprise for our anniversary.
