We stayed at Buttermere Court for 2 nights and it was perfect for our family. The Standard Family Room was spacious and cozy, with an amazing view of the moon and stars at night. The hotel still has a traditional style that perfectly matches the authentic feel of the area. The staff were extremely friendly and even interacted with our baby. The free car park was a bonus, especially during the busy holiday season. We can't wait to return!

The hotel is perfectly situated between two beautiful lakes, with Buttermere Lake only a few minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was substantial. They even provided a complimentary box with a variety of snacks for lunch, which was a nice touch. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was nice as well. everything was spot on.

The carpets and bathrooms were a bit dated.

Lackluster bar area

To be honest, everything about the hotel was spot on. The location was incredible, nestled next to a working farm and right in between two stunning lakes. The rooms were clean and spacious, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The staff provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious and there were even snack boxes provided for lunch. the hotel offered great facilities and advantages for a comfortable stay.

The walls between the rooms were quite thin.

The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. the bathroom was clean and had a great light up mirror. the staff were friendly and helpful, always with a smile.

The lack of air conditioning in the room made it quite uncomfortable during the summer nights. the toilet being located next to a boiling hot heater was a safety concern.

Our stay at Buttermere Court was incredible! The staff were so friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food at the bar was delicious, and it was a bonus that we could bring our dog with us. The hotel and our room were spotlessly clean, and we had a great view from our room. The location is amazing, just a short walk to beautiful Lake Buttermere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!

Just spent 3 nights in this wonderful hotel. the staff were amazing and attentive to all our needs. the breakfasts were delicious, with a good selection and the extra touch of a breakfast box to take away was a really good idea. the room was very clean and the bathroom was particularly nice. the view of the lake and fells from our window was probably the best we've ever had. the hotel is in a traditional style and matches perfectly with the authentic surroundings of Buttermere & Crummock Water. the staff were friendly and even interacted with our baby, creating a great atmosphere. Free car park was a huge advantage as it was a busy time.
