Fantastic country house hotel with beautiful views and grand atmosphere. the hotel is set in a secluded forest with a stunning golf course. the rooms are spacious and comfortable with all necessary facilities. the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. the public rooms are well-maintained and have magnificent original features. the dinner menu offers a good choice of dishes, with excellent quality and reasonable prices for wines. the hotel is in a great location for touring the area and offers lovely walks and a pool with a gym.

The dining room can become empty as it gets later, so it's best to arrive early for dinner. the dining experience could be improved with more varied and larger portions.

The conservatory, a perfect spot for drinks, offered breathtaking views of the charming town nearby. The service we received from the reception desk to the restaurant staff was excellent. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The facilities, including the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, provided a great way to relax and unwind. this hotel exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to others.

The staff were friendly and efficient, providing great service. The hotel is located in a beautiful country park with a well-kept 18-hole golf course, perfect for golf enthusiasts. It was also conveniently close to the coast and the village, allowing easy access to nearby attractions.

I recently stayed at Cally Palace and it served as a fantastic base to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The staff were attentive and provided great service. The spacious and comfortable rooms, although slightly dated, were always immaculate. The surprise of having three courses for the included dinner option was a real delight, with delicious food. The bar and outside terrace offered a lovely spot for pre or post-dinner drinks. The indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were a great bonus, never overcrowded during my stay.

The location was perfect, situated in a lovely rural area and great for a stop off when taking the ferry to the coast or the village. The breakfast was delicious, offering a good variety of options, including a cooked breakfast. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating, always ensuring we had everything we needed.
