Perfect for those looking for an eccentric retreat

I had a great experience with the staff who were super friendly and made sure we felt right at home. The breakfast was truly something else with a top-notch full English that hit the spot every morning and made you want to start the day with a bang.

It was a bit pricey for the overall experience but honestly you get what you pay for in a place like this.

The bathrooms resemble caravan installations, common areas show visible wear and tear!!! Limited Wi-Fi connectivity makes working on-site annoying!!! The decor feels cluttered and dated, which detracts from the building's historical significance!!!

The bathrooms are poorly designed and cramped!!! The hotel could benefit from a serious refresh, especially with the dated facilities and awkward elevator access!!! A clean-up in common areas is desperately needed!!!

Charming Castle Stay with View

Our third-floor room had stunning sea views and a beautiful four-poster bed. Breakfast was a delightful English spread for only £10! A tip for future guests, request a room with a renovated bathroom if possible. The staff was incredibly friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The sea view from our East Tower Junior Suite was breathtaking, and the spacious room featured a stunning bathroom with a fantastic spa bathtub and a good pressure shower. Staff were exceptional. Ted, in particular, was brilliant and shared his striking artwork, enhancing our experience. The gourmet pizzas served were a highlight, making meal times enjoyable. However, some areas need maintenance, especially the bathrooms in the lower-tier rooms, which can feel cramped. Despite that, the friendly staff truly made a difference in our stay.
