I recently stayed at a charming B&B just outside the main centre of the village, on the way to Thornwick bay. The hotel had a lovely energy with pretty tiling and unusual ornaments that showed the care and love put into it. The staff, Gillian and Mark, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even lending me binoculars to see the seals in the nearby bay. My cottage-like room at the back had a lovely view of the garden fields and was well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including a lovely bathroom with a hot shower. The breakfast was a highlight, with quality produce including delicious sausages.

There was nothing I didn't like during my stay.

The value for money at this B&B was excellent, with a good standard of repair and comfortable rooms. The location was ideal, just outside the village center but close enough to easily reach everything without any excessive noise. The view from the bedroom was lovely. The owners, Mark and Gillian, were fantastic hosts, providing all the usual amenities with a very nice bathroom and a truly amazing breakfast. They were also very knowledgeable about the local area and provided helpful information.

For breakfast, it would have been great to have a fresh ground coffee option instead of instant coffee.

The breakfast had a nice variety of options to choose from, which was a relief during the rush of Christmas season. the location was convenient, close to the sights and attractions which made it easy to navigate the area. the room was kept clean during our stay which was a plus point.

Despite the small size of the TV, it was adequate for our requirements. the bathroom was clean and in good order. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from including cereals, fresh fruit, toast, a full English. the price was reasonable compared to other places, making it great value for a good overnight stay. the location was perfect, especially for walkers and those interested in visiting nearby attractions. the views from the hotel across open fields were lovely. it was a quiet and enjoyable visit.
