We had an incredible stay at this modern, clean, and well-designed bed and breakfast. The openness of the house and the comfortable bed and bathrooms were impressive. There were plenty of skylights and windows that allowed natural light to fill the rooms. The breakfast options were delicious, with a cold buffet and a variety of dishes to choose from. We especially enjoyed Georgie's special mix granola. The location, though outside of the town, was easily accessible with a reliable and affordable cab service. our experience exceeded our expectations in every aspect.

Minor issue, but the wifi dropped in and out occasionally. However, it didn't significantly affect our stay.

Canowindra exceeded my expectations in every way. Georgie, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and made our stay extra special. It was my birthday and she went above and beyond to help my husband surprise me with cake and flowers. She gave him recommendations on where to find the best cake and even provided a vase for the flowers. the Feathers room we stayed in was spacious and luxurious, with a comfortable super king size bed and a beautiful ensuite bathroom. Georgie's attention to detail was impeccable and she provided us with plenty of information about local attractions. the breakfast options were delicious and plentiful.

I recently stayed at Canowindra in Portree for a few nights and it was absolutely fantastic. The room and bathroom were newly refurbished and beautifully decorated. The shower and bath were incredible, and the coffee and tea selection was better than what you usually find in hotels. I had one of the best night's sleep ever and the homemade granola at breakfast was superb. The host was also very kind and provided a list of accessible accommodations for my paraplegic partner. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore all parts of the island.

Would recommend this hotel.
