Although there was a minor inconvenience of no microwave, the accommodation was perfect for our last-minute stopover. The location was perfect for exploring both nearby attractions and further north, including the nearby small ferry trip across the Cromarty Firth. I especially enjoyed my visit to Portmahomack beach, which was only a short drive away. this was a welcoming and clean accommodation that I highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The owners were friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, and I loved having my own private terrace to relax on. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the beach and with plenty of nearby shops and facilities.

the hosts at this cottage were incredibly down to earth and always available if we needed anything. the cottage itself was surprisingly cosy and everything was clean and well-maintained. the two bedrooms were a huge bonus, especially for someone like me who struggles with restless sleepers. the veranda provided a great spot to relax, even in the rain. the kitchen was well-equipped and the shower spacious. I highly recommend Canterra Cottage for a stay, whether it's just for a night or an extended stay of several nights.

They even welcomed us with a lovely afternoon tea and provided great recommendations for dinner. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked, with a fridge full of goodies. We especially loved the balcony, which offered beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It was the perfect stay for our family of four.

canterra cottage was a dream! surrounded by fields and a short drive to the lighthouse and village. hosts were down to earth and always helpful. highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.
