I had a fantastic stay at the guest house. The staff were incredibly friendly and informative, providing a warm welcome. The location was ideal, as it was close to the town centre and situated by the beautiful coastline. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a modern charging port in the room and plenty of storage for personal belongings. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the breakfast was delicious, offering a good choice of options.

The lack of a desk or dressing table in the room was a bit inconvenient, and there was no hand soap in the bathroom. Additionally, there were not always staff members available at the front desk, although I understand that this may be due to the guest house not being a full-service hotel.

Although the breakfast room was a bit small and became crowded at times, it did not take away from the overall positive experience. Additionally, the room being on the second floor and accessible only by a narrow staircase was a minor inconvenience when carrying our luggage.

The wifi was excellent, able to handle our Zoom meetings. everything was very good, and we appreciated the considerate and accommodating nature of the lovely people at Carradale Guest House.

I indulged in the continental breakfast every morning, feeling fancy. Close to airport, no need for a long commute. The scenic views of Scalloway were a pleasant 9 km away.

I mean, who wouldn't want to go to Sumburgh Airport every morning for breakfast? It's the breakfast of champions!
