I recently stayed at the Carrington in Paignton for a few nights and it was one of the best hotels I've ever been to. The proprietor, Brian, greeted me by name and showed me to my spotlessly clean ensuite room. The bed was comfy, everything worked perfectly, and the room was beautifully decorated. The breakfast was perfect, with choices offered and bottomless coffee. The location was also perfect and the value for money was unbeatable.

The location was convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the seafront, town centre, and railway station. The breakfast menu had plenty of options, with delicious vegetarian choices like the cheese and mushroom omelette. The owners were incredibly helpful and provided great service.

I recently stayed at the Carrington Guest House for a few weeks when visiting my brother and newborn nephew. The location was fantastic, being close to public transportation, parking, restaurants, and the beautiful seafront. Wifi was spotty.

The hosts were very accommodating, even allowing for a late check-in due to bad weather. the breakfast choices were varied and delicious, with the option for packed lunches as well. the location was lovely, with easy access to long-term parking and a short walk to the pier, beach, restaurants, and even pirate-themed mini-golf.

The technology could use a bit of an upgrade, with small TV's and some issues with the Wi-Fi. Some guests may be pickier about this than I was, but it's worth noting.
