I had a great stay at this hotel. the location is perfect for exploring the city, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Secondly, the room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and all the basic amenities I needed. Finally, the breakfast offered a variety of options, including traditional Scottish fare, which was a nice touch.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was a pleasant one.

The service at the hotel was great, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. the room was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning. the location was also a key aspect for us, as it was easy to walk into the city and explore. being situated high up meant that we didn't have any noise disturbances at night, which was a plus.

One aspect that we found challenging was the lack of an elevator/lift. Since it is a listed building, there are many flights of stairs to climb, and carrying our bags up was exhausting.

We got great value for our money at Castle Street Hotel. The room was freshly decorated and had a good view of the castle. The location was super convenient, close to Princes Street and the city's old town. The staff were friendly, helpful, and even helped us find another hotel for our second night when they were over-booked.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was if they had better coffee - they used a filter coffee which wasn't the best.

Additionally, the view from the top floor dining area was fantastic, offering a glimpse of the beautiful surroundings.

The name "Castle View" is a bit misleading as the castle is only visible from the top floor dining area.

We spent our Christmas holidays at this hotel and we loved the free chocolate and wine that was left in our room as a gift. the location was perfect as it was close to all the shops and restaurants. the breakfast was great!

The stairs were absolutely dreadful. We were on the top floor and there was no elevator.

We stayed at Castle Street Hotel for a short trip to explore the city. The 5 person room was spacious with a terrific large bathroom. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and the location was superb, just a short walk from the Royal Mile. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to our overall great experience.
