Situated in a rather unpromising area, the Castletown Hotel is conveniently located near Scrabness Ferry Port. It is surrounded by the tailings of the stones used to pave the Strand in London, giving it a unique charm. The rooms provide comfortable beds and ample storage space, while the bathrooms are sufficient. The staff is incredibly friendly, ready to help and make time for you. The hotel also offers a generous breakfast and dinner, with options like a perfectly cooked large sirloin steak and generous portions. the hotel is pet-friendly, providing pet bowls, treats, and blankets.

The service from one staff member was unfortunate, as they were aggressive and rude.
