We recently stayed at the Tomahawk Steakhouse in Ponteland for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was great, just outside Ponteland with easy access and no road noise when the windows were shut. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked through the door. Our room was immaculate and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. The highlight of our stay was the outstanding food - both the evening meal and the full English breakfast were excellent. The oysters were a must-try! a wonderful stay at a fantastic hotel.

The location of the hotel was a disappointment as everything in the Newcastle area was closed. the access to the bedrooms through the restaurant was awkward. On the positive side, the staff were helpful, and the room was nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a lovely roll-top bath and a separate double shower. Parking was ample, and there was outside seating available. However, there was no mention of any other amenities or advantages in the reviews.
