The check-in process was seamless, and the night porter was friendly and helpful. The breakfast served to us was delicious, and we appreciated it being served to us rather than as a buffet. a great hotel experience in a charming village.

Secondly, the location was perfect, with a small wooded area nearby that made for a lovely evening walk in the warm sunny weather. Additionally, the staff were attentive and friendly, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and clean, with some offering beautiful views of the grounds. Oh, and breakfast was included, with a delicious filter coffee to start the day.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem for our anniversary meal and it couldn't have been more perfect. The setting was beautiful, with stunning grounds to explore. The staff gave us a fantastic experience, especially Rachel who had excellent knowledge of the history of this place. The food was mouthwatering, especially the monkfish and prawns and the lemon and black pepper chicken. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and even the cheeseboard came with a print out of the cheeses. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others. I would highly recommend this hotel for a wedding venue, Sunday lunch, afternoon tea, a night away, or just a drink and a light lunch or evening meal.
