I had the most wonderful stay at this country house. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The owners, Angus and Jane, were incredibly hospitable and made me feel right at home. The rooms were beautifully restored and furnished, giving it a charming old-world feel. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a good library and outdoor games available for guests to enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing me with wellingtons and towels for my dog. The food prepared by Angus was top-notch, with a delicious vegetarian option available upon request. this hotel exceeded all my expectations in terms of cleanliness, location, facilities, and staff.

We got excellent value for our money at Cavens Country House Guest House. The room was comfortable and had a real country house feel, with a lovely view over the grounds from our window. The location was stunning and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing break. The staff, Angus and Jane, were friendly and treated us like family.

While the breakfast offerings were delicious, it would have been even better if there were more vegetarian options available.
