I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The warm and friendly reception team were always ready to assist me during my visit. The hotel had a lovely garden setting, which added to the overall ambiance. The bedrooms were well-maintained, although some decorative touches such as pictures would have made them even more inviting. The fires in the sitting area were a cozy touch, and there were plenty of staff available to help with any requests. Additionally, the hotel's location in beautiful gardens added to the overall charm.

We had a comfortable overnight stay at Gretna Hall. The location was convenient, right by the motorway. The public areas were well-maintained and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the shower in our room was great. Despite a few minor inconveniences, overall I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel grounds were lovely, with a private patio and beautiful views. We were fortunate enough to witness a wedding and explore the historic wedding rooms. Convenient location to explore the area and shopping outlet village. The bathroom had a nice walk-in shower and the whole building was clean and tastefully decorated. The staff was helpful and thoughtful, providing de-icer for our car and assisting when one of us fell ill. The bar, lounge, and restaurant were beautifully decorated and comfortable. Tasty and well-presented food with attentive service. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choices.

We recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, offering assistance with our luggage and always being happy to help. The hotel itself was extremely clean, with modern and stylish interiors in the main areas. Although the bedrooms and en suites could use some updating, they were still clean and well-maintained. The food and drinks provided at the hotel were presented beautifully and were delicious. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and the historic exterior adds to its charm. we were impressed by the character and history of this place.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, and helpful. They made our Christmas stay enjoyable and memorable. the hotel's dining room and bar area were very nice, and the food was excellent. We especially loved the delicious steak cooked by the talented kitchen staff. We also appreciated the ample parking available at the hotel.

Our room was very outdated and shabby. It was disappointing to see that the accommodations had not been renovated yet, especially during a holiday stay.

Absolutely brilliant hotel and staff. Excellent location. Great break after Christmas. Will definitely be back.

The room was perfect and had a romantic atmosphere with candles. the restaurant and bar looked lovely with recent renovations. the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. the wedding breakfast was beautiful and the cheesecake was highly praised. the gardens and setting were lovely as well.

Some of the rooms, particularly the double and family rooms, have yet to be renovated and were described as dirty and old-fashioned. Communication from the staff was poor, leading to confusion and mix-ups during the wedding.

The hotel had a very relaxed unhurried atmosphere during breakfast, which was served with a full Scottish spread and cereal to start. The location was excellent, easy to find, and convenient as a stop-off point to Glencoe. The recently refurbished restaurant and bar looked great and added to the overall ambiance. The hotel provided ample parking, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was excellent in quality.

We had a pleasant stay at Gretna Hall, despite a few minor issues. The location and grounds are beautiful, creating a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed our meals during our stay. Although the rooms are in need of renovation, we found them to be comfortable and clean. The ongoing renovation work shows potential for improvement in the future. we had a positive experience at Gretna Hall and would consider staying there again in the future.

The beds and pillows were so comfy, like sleeping on clouds. the staff were really helpful and polite, always ready to assist with a smile. Plus, the food in the restaurant and bar was really good, a delicious treat for the taste buds.

The bathroom situation wasn't great. the tap water was scalding hot, and there was no clear warning about it.

The staff were professional, welcoming, and friendly. Great room service. Extensive inclusive meal. Luxurious comfort. Outstanding employee. Nice room. Superb breakfast. Lovely location.
