The location of this hotel in the conservatory at the front provides breathtaking views of the surrounding areas, right on the seafront and next to the beach. The rooms are immaculate, with comfortable beds and beautiful linen. The owners are incredibly welcoming and go the extra mile to ensure a memorable stay. Plus, the breakfast offers a variety of delicious options to start your day.

It's worth noting that there are strict rules in place, such as no mobile phones at the table and being cautious with towels to avoid stains. The hotel may not be the ideal choice for younger couples seeking a lively atmosphere.

I was pleasantly surprised by the stunning views from my room at Channel View Boutique Hotel - Adults Only. The panoramic view of the bay from Torquay to Brixham was absolutely breathtaking. The room itself was modern and well-maintained, with the en-suite bathroom featuring the best shower I've ever had. The attention to detail, like the drinks tray with real milk kept fresh in a cold flask, added a special touch to my stay. The breakfast options were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the well-cooked and appetizing dishes. The dining room had a pleasant atmosphere, and the newly refurbished bar area was clean and tidy. Additionally, the hotel owners, Peter and Ruth, were welcoming and made me feel at home throughout my stay. The conservatory, where I spent my evenings, provided a lovely spot to socialize with other guests and enjoy the incredible views. I had a lovely and memorable experience at this hotel.

It was all superb.

The West Indian restaurant nearby was fantastic, serving delicious food that we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel's location in Preston, at the quiet end of Paignton, was ideal for us as we wanted to avoid the holiday crowds. We could easily explore the shops and cafes in the area and it was also close enough to enjoy all of Paignton and Brixham. The room was beautifully presented with tasteful decor, and the beds and pillows were super comfy. The service provided by the hosts, Ruth and Peter, was exceptional. Breakfast was tasty, with a good variety of choices, and the views from the front bedrooms were stunning. We couldn't ask for more.

There were a few unnecessary rules mentioned in the guestbook that felt excessive.

I absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The sun was shining, and I opted for a sea view with balcony which allowed me to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. The room was spotless and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The towels and robes were soft and pure white, adding to the luxurious feel. The owners even sent me a birthday card, a simple touch that meant a lot. The location was perfect, within walking distance of pubs and restaurants, and I could wake up to the soothing sound of the sea. a fantastic experience at Channel View Boutique Hotel.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel provided us with a truly luxurious experience. the exclusive amenities, like the private facilities and leisure room, were perfect for unwinding after a long day at the beach, which is conveniently within walking distance. the staff provided excellent service, especially in the restaurant where we enjoyed delicious meals. the bar/lounge area also impressed us with its wide range of drinks and excellent atmosphere.

Although our room had many exclusive advantages, like the picturesque view and modern amenities, we found that the room was smaller than expected. we quickly realized that this minor issue was easily overlooked due to the impeccable cleanliness and comfortable furnishings.

Looking for a quiet, relaxing time by the beach? Channel View Boutique Hotel is the perfect choice. Situated between Paignton and Torquay, this hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere while still being close enough to enjoy all of Paignton and Brixham. The rooms are decorated to a high standard, with beautiful views of the beach and sea. The breakfast is delicious, cooked to perfection by the friendly hosts. You can also relax in the lovely conservatory or spacious bar area.

Parking on the road can be difficult in the high season.

The location was wonderful, right on the sea front with superb views. The room was extremely clean, light, and airy, with a perfect view of the sea. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the balcony and the delicious breakfasts. We felt very welcome by Peter and Ruth, who were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel's parking was available, which was a great convenience for us.

I recently had a delightful stay at Channel View Hotel in Devon. From the warm welcome to the end, everything was perfect. The rooms were pristine and felt brand new, with breathtaking sea views. Hosts Peter and Ruth were exceptional, providing a personal and friendly experience. This is now my top choice when visiting Devon.
