Steep and creaky stairs.

Stayed at a lovely quirky property, exceptionally clean and well equipped. the cottage had a great location for walking and exploring the area, with free parking nearby. It was also close to local shops for groceries. the host was responsive when there was an issue with the Wi-Fi code. Underfloor heating was a nice touch, as it warmed up quickly. Enjoyed plenty of seating for meals and relaxing.

We stayed at Chater Cottage for a few days to visit friends nearby. The cute cottage was clean, warm, and quiet, with thoughtful amenities like a hair dryer and hair iron. The owner promptly replaced the blow dryer when it stopped working. The location was ideal, with free parking nearby and shops within walking distance. We enjoyed lovely evening walks along the river and had fantastic meals at the nearby Italian restaurant and local pubs.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.
