Located in a peaceful village, Chatton Cottage offers a clean and comfortable stay. The cottage is well-equipped, with a kitchen suitable for self-catering. Towels are plentiful, and the large double bed provides a restful sleep. Its proximity to the coast and countryside makes it an ideal base for exploring the area. there is a local pub within walking distance for dining options.

While the cottage is comfortable and quiet, it's worth noting that the front of the property is relatively close to the road.

I got amazing value for my money at this cozy and well-equipped cottage. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had great WIFI. The location was perfect for exploring nearby castles and the local pub was just a two-minute walk away. The staff were friendly and the owners made great use of the space in the cottage.

Breakfast choices could have been more varied.

Imagine my surprise when I found a fridge and a dining area in my cottage! And there's even a flat-screen TV. Absolutely mind-blowing.

Oh, and let's not forget about the scuba diving nearby. Because who doesn't want to go scuba diving when staying in a cottage?

I had the most enjoyable break at Chatton Cottage. It was incredibly homely and comfortable, and everything was immaculately clean. The owners clearly put a lot of love and effort into the cottage, and it showed. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, whether it be the coastline, local towns, or rural countryside. And the woodburning stove in the living room was a cozy touch, especially as the nights were getting colder. The little touches like cookies, wine, and essential cleaning products made our stay even more special. The village itself was peaceful and had a great village shop and church. I had an exceptional experience at Chatton Cottage, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

I only wish I could have stayed longer, and I couldn't find the bike shed keys initially, but other than that, there was nothing I didn't like about my stay. The Percy Arms was unfortunately closed for refurbishment during my visit, but I heard it is scheduled to reopen in a few weeks.

We loved our recent stay at the beautifully decorated and very comfortable cottage in a great location. The internal decoration was done beautifully and the kitchen was very well equipped. The whole cottage was very comfortable and its location was ideal for exploring the coastline around Bamburgh and other attractions. We particularly enjoyed the short walk to the village pub for an evening meal. The living space and master bedroom being downstairs and the two smaller rooms upstairs were perfect for our family. Additionally, the elevated garden area at the back was a lovely bonus. The log burner in the living room added a cozy and warm ambiance to our stay. The cleanliness of the cottage upon arrival, along with the thoughtful touches of wine and chocolate biscuits, made us feel very welcome. we had a charming and enjoyable experience at this quiet countryside retreat. We highly recommend it.
