great stay at the cherry tree! girls at the bar were brilliant, food was lovely. location was beautiful and quiet with just a few planes flying overhead. room had everything we needed for a perfect stay. breakfast was hearty and delicious. chelsea made our stay even better. we'll be back!

Music in the restaurant wasn't great.

I stayed at The Cherry Tree for a short visit to see family nearby. The location was pleasantly quiet, despite being next to a pub and the airport flightpath. The newly refurbished room had all the necessary facilities and was spotless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The staff made check-in and check-out a breeze, and the pub offered a delicious breakfast for a reasonable price. a fantastic find with plenty of room and excellent amenities.

I do recommend this hotel.

There were some significant drawbacks to my experience at this hotel. there were issues with organization and administration, such as a lack of communication regarding room bookings and difficulties in contacting the hotel prior to arrival.

The exclusive amenities provided at this hotel were exceptional. Staff were friendly and attentive, catering to our every need. the room advantages were luxurious, with a comfortable bed and beautifully decorated interior. the private facilities exceeded expectations, providing a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere.

The only minor issue we encountered was a lack of variety in the restaurant menu. the quality of the meal we had was outstanding.

The rooms were well equipped with tea, coffee, milk and fresh towels. Providing fans, hair dryers and irons was a bonus. the hotel is set in a rural location which is perfect for a peaceful getaway. It’s also great if you have a car, allowing you to easily explore nearby destinations.

Breakfast is available in the pub next door but only after they open at lunchtime. This is a downside if you’re keen on an early breakfast.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was immaculate, with the rooms being spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities were also great, with a kettle in the room for tea and coffee. The parking was convenient and easy, with plenty of spaces. The location of the hotel was perfect for me, as it was close to a lovely relaxing pub/restaurant and just a mile away from the town of Rochford. The staff were amazing, always ensuring I had enough beverages and providing fresh towels daily.

The Cherry Tree pub attached to the hotel provides a great dining option, with a good range of food and delicious breakfast. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests.

One potential drawback is that the hotel is located close to Southend airport, meaning that guests may experience some noise from planes flying overhead during the night.

Our room was spacious, modern, and very clean. The hotel was new, so everything was in pristine order. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
