Additionally, it is situated opposite a small ruined church, which adds an interesting touch to the surroundings. Moreover, there is a pretty park adjacent to the guest house, providing a pleasant view. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with nice touches like mince pies and cookies. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast options are varied and delicious, with both hot and cold choices available.

The car park is quite small, which may make parking a little tight for some guests.

Tony and his team were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. the accommodation was lovely and conveniently located, with the bonus of free parking on site. the breakfast each morning was excellent, offering a great selection and beautifully cooked dishes. the room was comfortable, with the added convenience of an air conditioner and a noiseless overhead fan. Tony, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. If we ever return to the area, we will definitely choose to stay at Chestnuts House again.

Our romantic escape was absolutely perfect from start to finish. the breakfast had a great selection that was cooked to order and very tasty. We especially enjoyed the off-street parking that made our stay stress-free. the hotel's location was amazing, just a quick walk to all the attractions and a nearby park. This hotel is a luxurious haven that exceeded our expectations. the exclusive amenities, such as the private facilities and packed lunches, fulfilled our every need. the location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the city center. the service was impeccable and the leisure room was an added bonus. We especially enjoyed the sun terrace, perfect for relaxing on a sunny day.

The only minor issue we experienced was the soft and unevenly worn mattress. this did not detract from our overall wonderful experience.
