Although the rooms were a bit old-fashioned, the shower worked well and the location was convenient, with a supermarket and other shops nearby. the breakfast options were impressive, with a wide selection of organic and gluten-free cereals and accommodating hosts who helped with special dietary requests. We also appreciated having access to a fridge for our own food.

It is also within walking distance to the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal, perfect for a leisurely stroll. the room had the advantage of a spacious bathroom, ensuring comfort during your stay.

The noise from the road was a major drawback. Being on the ground floor, we had to deal with the constant traffic noise, which made it difficult to sleep at times.

The food provided during my xmas stay was outstanding. the quality and selection were top-notch. the ensuite in my room was very modern and clean, with contemporary fixtures. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens were of high quality. I also appreciated the nice assortment of teas, coffees, and water that were provided in my room.

One aspect that I did not enjoy during my stay was the lack of information about having to cook my own breakfast. Another downside was the poor lighting in the room for reading.
