Great location near town center, Sherborne Castle, and Abbey. Well-appointed room with comfy bed and luxury additions. Host Susie very welcoming and helpful. Enjoyable breakfast and convenient parking. Beautiful traditional property with lovely decor and furniture.

Despite these minor issues, the cottage itself was beautiful and clean. The room was spacious and had access to a lovely garden. The beds were comfortable and the decor tasteful. The location was also convenient, being close to the town center and within walking distance of various attractions. The host was friendly and provided all the necessary amenities. our stay was enjoyable.

The shared bathroom and the presence of the owner's belongings in the wardrobe made our stay a little uncomfortable. the location of the room key was not obvious, causing us some inconvenience during our stay.

Enjoyed the homemade shortbread and cooked breakfast offered at this quaint bed and breakfast. Comfortable beds made for a good night's rest. Location was close to town center and convenient for exploring the surrounding area. Had a warm and welcoming host who made us feel at home.

Rooms lacked certain amenities such as a waste bin or a wardrobe. Some rooms had high sided bathtubs which could be a problem for those with mobility issues.

The value for money at Clare Cottage was exceptional, with a beautifully appointed room, including a huge comfy bed, luxurious corner bath, and stylish period furniture. The location was ideal, being close to the town, Abbey, and Castle, and the staff.

The morning meal could have benefited from a wider variety of options.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic! the value for money was unbeatable. The prices were reasonable for the excellent service and amenities provided. Secondly, the attention to detail was top-notch. From the plush beds to sink into, to the lovely roll top bath in the room, everything was carefully thought out and added a touch of luxury to my stay. Lastly, the location of the hotel was perfect. Situated close to the centre of Sherborne, I was able to easily explore the town and even visit the beautiful castle.

What a treat it was to stay at this hidden gem in the heart of town! The location was perfect, just a short walk from all the action. The house itself was beautifully decorated with charming antique furniture. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Susie who made us feel right at home, even lighting a fire for us. Our spacious bedroom was beautifully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was a delight, with delicious food served on carefully chosen crockery. We truly felt pampered during our stay and hope to return someday. I highly recommend this lovely retreat.
