The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. the location was perfect, offering a peaceful and quiet setting with beautiful countryside views. We also liked the helpful and friendly staff who provided great recommendations.

The bathroom door was a bit stiff and the glass shower panel was not long enough, causing water to spray everywhere.

our recent visit to a cozy guest house in Herstmonceux exceeded our expectations. The owner, Sally, was warm and welcoming, ensuring our every need was met. The room was beautifully furnished with a lovely view and a well-stocked tea and coffee tray. The almond milk request at breakfast was fulfilled, and the coffee was excellent.

Road-facing room was a bit dark.

We had a wonderful stay at Cleavers Lyng Guest House. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices, and we enjoyed the peaceful location and beautiful views. The historic property had a charming atmosphere, and our bedroom, though small, had a comfortable bed. We especially loved the low ceilings, which added to the sense of stepping back in time. we felt at home and would definitely stay here again.

The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside and a peaceful atmosphere. the room was spacious and comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options and freshly prepared dishes that kept us satisfied throughout the day.

The room felt a bit cramped and could use some renovation to improve the overall ambiance. the lack of working latches on the windows was a minor inconvenience as we couldn't easily adjust the airflow.

As a business traveler, I appreciated the warm and cozy atmosphere of Cleavers Lyng. The owners provided helpful guides for local pubs and restaurants, making it easy to find good dining options. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast selection was excellent, keeping me fueled for the day ahead. The breakfast provided was delicious and kept us full all day. The room we stayed in was comfortable and had a great view of the gardens and countryside. we would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

the house was in a beautiful location and within easy travelling distance of coastal towns for day trips. the hosts were brilliant, breakfast was exceptional, and the room was immaculately clean and well equipped. we would definitely stay here again, exceeded our expectations for our summer holidays.
