The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. the location was perfect, offering a peaceful and quiet setting with beautiful countryside views. We also liked the helpful and friendly staff who provided great recommendations.

The bathroom door was a bit stiff and the glass shower panel was not long enough, causing water to spray everywhere.

our recent visit to a cozy guest house in Herstmonceux exceeded our expectations. The owner, Sally, was warm and welcoming, ensuring our every need was met. The room was beautifully furnished with a lovely view and a well-stocked tea and coffee tray. The almond milk request at breakfast was fulfilled, and the coffee was excellent.

Road-facing room was a bit dark.

We especially loved the low ceilings, which added to the sense of stepping back in time. we felt at home and would definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay at a beautiful old house in a lovely location. The gardens were stunning and we enjoyed the peacefulness of the surroundings. The breakfast provided was delicious and kept us full all day. The room we stayed in was comfortable and had a great view of the gardens and countryside. we would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
