The location of the cottages was perfect for us as it offered easy access to beautiful walks and stunning grounds. We also loved the fact that the cottages were dog-friendly, making it a great choice for pet owners like us. the underfloor heating in the cottage was a wonderful bonus and made our stay extra cozy and comfortable.

There were a few minor points that could have been improved upon. the TV in the front room was relatively small, which was a bit disappointing, especially on rainy days when we wanted to relax indoors.

our stay at the cottage was perfect in every way - from the cozy log burner to the spacious kitchen and bedrooms. The beautiful surroundings and attentive manager made our experience even better than our previous stay in Maybole. We will definitely be returning.

We had an amazing time at Cloncaird! The castle grounds were stunning for walks and the river walk was a highlight. The Groom's Cottage was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. It was a great base for exploring Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway, and even Glasgow. The area has so much to offer, especially in the summer months. We also loved the nearby restaurant, Wildings in Maidens, for its quality, value, and service. Cloncaird is a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing destination for all age groups.

The location of this place is absolutely stunning, with gorgeous grounds to explore and a tranquil stream flowing through. The cottage itself was spacious, well-appointed, and had the added bonus of being dog-friendly. The bed was so incredibly comfortable, and the underfloor heating was a delightful touch. Access was easy, and there were plenty of lovely walks to enjoy. it was the perfect place for a relaxing break. The stunning castle grounds were accessible to guests, and the stable block conversion was of a very high standard. Plus, it made for a great base to explore Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway, and even Glasgow. The area has so much to offer, and the local restaurants, like Wildings in Maidens, were excellent. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere at Cloncaird was exactly what we needed, and Robert, our contact, was fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough – you won't be disappointed!

Gorgeous surroundings, spacious and comfortable cottage, helpful estate manager. Underfloor heating took a while to warm up initially. 4 wee dogs allowed, 5 different beaches nearby. Stunning area for a fantastic base.

The cottages were beautiful, with well-equipped interiors and generous supplies. The outdoor bar area and marshmallow toasting area were delightful additions. The castle grounds were stunning and perfect for walks. The location was great for exploring Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway, and Glasgow.
