Quiet woodland location, short drive from city center. Hot, powerful shower. Friendly, helpful staff.

our room and bathroom were excellent. The bed was super comfortable, and we slept really well. The bathroom was spacious, although it could have been cleaner. The hotel location was also a plus, surrounded by beautiful countryside and within walking distance of Burnstump Park and the BMI Park hospital.

There were some drawbacks to our stay. The bar area was too small and cold, and the dining room also lacked warmth.

We stayed in the beautiful bridal suite, which was located in a quiet and secluded area away from the main road. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully decorated, with a private bathroom. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice. Samantha, in particular, provided great service during our stay.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, one of the best I've slept on in a while. the hotel's location was convenient, not too far from the city center and easy to find. the restaurant had delicious food and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

There were some noisy machinery sounds throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep. the breakfast was lackluster, with subpar smoked salmon and soggy toast.

my stay at this place was absolutely delightful. The location was lovely, nestled in beautiful gardens behind a school. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including ironing facilities, free toiletries, and an electric kettle. The flat-screen TV and carpeted floor added a touch of luxury to the room. Plus, the breakfast provided was simply outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.

Lovely surprise here! the surroundings were beautiful and quiet. the food was superb, and we enjoyed the rainbow cauliflower starter and the main courses were amazing. the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. They went above and beyond to make sure our experience was memorable. We also had a relaxing time in the spa facilities.

The bathroom was also not up to standard, with inadequate flushing toilet and poor drainage in the sink.

I stayed in room 9, which was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. It was definitely worth the money and would be perfect for a couple. The location is great, within walking distance to Burnstump Park and the BMI Park hospital. The staff at Cockliffe House were incredibly friendly, especially the lovely lady who checked us in. They were accommodating and made sure we were well taken care of.

The menu for breakfast could have had more options to choose from.

Despite being on a business trip, I felt relaxed and pampered throughout my stay. the location is absolutely stunning, with a tranquil garden and a nearby nature reserve. the cuisine at the hotel was a delightful surprise, with rosette-style "nouvelle" dishes that were cooked to perfection. From the amazing mushroom soup to the light and delicious pineapple cake, every meal was a culinary delight. I can't wait to return to this picturesque retreat.

The net curtains on the glass doors allowed anyone passing by to easily see inside, especially when the lights were on at night. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited, with only a low-quality buffet available at 9:00 am.
