The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of town with plenty of places to eat nearby. there is a Sainsbury's just behind the hotel, which is convenient for any last-minute needs.

As women travelling alone, we felt totally comfortable and safe at Compton House. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The breakfast selection was excellent and catered to our specific dietary needs. The owner went above and beyond to accommodate our arrival and departure times. The room was clean and tidy, with a lovely selection of toiletries. We also appreciated the off-street parking and the convenient location near various dining options.

We had a great weekend at this B&B. the location couldn't have been better, with easy access to parking and nearby tourist attractions. We loved the personal touches, like the owner providing off-street parking and securely storing our bikes overnight. the breakfast was delicious and kept us going for the whole day! Plus, the room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed.

The only negative aspect we found was the uncomfortable bed. It was quite old and the springs were worn out, so we didn't sleep as well as we would have liked.
