We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! Cottage Lake View was perfectly located in Coniston for the event we attended. The cupboards had all the little things we needed, like sugar, tea, coffee, and even a bottle of beer! The cottage was very clean and the shower was excellent. The location was fabulous, with stunning views overlooking the lake and valley. It was spotlessly clean and had all the comforts and amenities we could possibly need. The reclining chair/sofa was a pleasant surprise, and we loved relaxing in front of the wood burner. The village and the lake were just a short walk away, and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. It was also a great starting point for exploring the Old Man of Coniston.

I stayed at a lovely cottage with a beautiful lake view. The hosts were kind and allowed us to check in early. The cottage was cosy, clean, and well-equipped with comfortable beds. We enjoyed peaceful nights of sleep. The location was great, with plenty of nearby walks and restaurants to explore. It was a perfect stay for keen walkers, with multiple routes available right from the doorstep. The provided walking maps and guides were a nice touch. The log burner added to the cosy ambiance, and we appreciated the ample supply of wood.

The road up to the cottage is not for the faint-hearted. The lane is narrow, unlit at night, and has many twists and turns.

I had a fantastic stay at the Cottage Lake View in Coniston. The views of Coniston Water were absolutely gorgeous, and the cottage itself was perfect. It felt like a home away from home, immaculately clean and with all the amenities you could possibly need. The location was great too, serving as a base for exploring other parts of the lakes. I especially loved the little touches like courtesy chocolates and local ale. I can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at a cosy cottage with a beautiful view of the lake. The log burner kept us warm on chilly evenings, and the well-appointed kitchen was a great bonus. The bathroom was lovely, with a powerful shower. We enjoyed the secluded terrace and the BBQ was a nice touch. The cottage had everything we needed and more, from sandwich bags to bubble baths. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with great walks nearby. we highly recommend this cottage for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The drive up to the cottage was a little narrow and steep, which may be challenging for larger vehicles. Additionally, the downstairs area was quite dark due to being set into the hillside, although this didn't affect our overall experience.

The location of the cottage is ideal, with great views of the surrounding area and just a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, and the lake. The kitchen is well-equipped and clean, perfect for preparing meals. The cottage itself has a lovely cosy atmosphere, and the log burner provides a treat on chilly days.
