Great location near town centre, lovely walk up the hill, and scenic river view from the room. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Good breakfast with lots of choices. Spacious and comfortable rooms.

Arrived early, requested early check-in for a special occasion. Staff kindly upgraded my room without asking. Room had stunning view of the river. Comfy bed and fabulous rainfall shower. Breakfast was good, although self-service could have been improved. I highly recommend this hotel.

On the day itself everything was perfect, with a riverside location that offered lovely walks along the water. The friendly staff provided good service and the breakfast was enjoyable. The room had a comfortable bed and a nice waterside view. The hotel also had on-site parking, which was convenient.

The room and hotel were in need of some investment, with worn-out paint and crumbs left under the table.

The value for money at the hotel was excellent, with a spacious room and a lovely view over the river. The staff at Copthorne were friendly, polite, and very helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast area could be improved by having a larger space to accommodate more people without feeling crowded.

We booked one of the connoisseur rooms, which had lovely views over The Tyne. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The location was fantastic for visiting central Newcastle, with easy access to The Metro Arena and Quay Side. The hotel also had its own car parking facility, a huge bonus for us.

We had an amazing stay! the breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options including fresh fruit and yogurt. the stunning view from the restaurant over the river added to the experience. the staff were professional and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The lack of sufficient sockets near the bed was a bit inconvenient when both of us needed to charge our devices and my husband had to use his sleep machine. the room we stayed in was starting to look a bit outdated and could use some renovations.

The view from the rooms is stunning, overlooking the river and city skyline.

The television in the room randomly switched off from time to time, which was a bit inconvenient.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing us with suggestions on where to explore. Our room was clean and comfortable, with all necessary amenities. The breakfast offered a good selection of cereal options to start our day.

The noise from the nearby railway bridges did disrupt our sleep at times.
