Excellent location with beautiful views of grazing animals and Tinto Hill. Room size and separate shower room were convenient. Dinner menu had good range of options at reasonable prices. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Superbly comfortable bed and smooth lift.

Amazing Staff and Beautiful Surroundings

We just got back from a week away celebrating my husband's birthday, and we chose to stay at this delightful guest house for our final night. As enthusiasts of historic castles, I was initially hesitant that it wouldn't be old or grand enough for us. However, aside from not being an ancient castle, it exceeded all our expectations in every way.

I had an incredible stay at this stunning hotel. The view from my bedroom was absolutely beautiful, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The food at the hotel was lovely, and I was pleasantly surprised by how cosy and warm the castle was. I was expecting it to be draughty, but there was no issue at all. The cleanliness and hotel facilities were top-notch, and there was ample parking available. The location of the hotel was perfect, tucked away in a peaceful and rural setting. The staff were attentive and efficient, ensuring that I had a pleasant experience throughout my stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food was beyond excellent, with a wide range of options at great value. We also appreciated the hotel's cleanliness and the variety of facilities they offered.

We got great value for our money at Cornhill Castle Guest House! The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, surrounded by stunning surroundings. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and made us feel very welcome.

The value for money at Cornhill Castle was excellent, with a spectacular and spacious room overlooking the river. The location was perfect, nestled in beautiful Scottish countryside, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly.

The bar offered a tremendous selection of drinks, and the dinner in the restaurant was excellent. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good as well. The spacious room had a comfortable bed, and the view from the upgraded room was absolutely stunning. The beautiful grounds added to the peaceful ambiance of the hotel. my stay at this hotel was delightful and surpassed my expectations.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Brenda who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was excellent. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, giving a castle-like atmosphere. The food was delicious, particularly the salmon and the afternoon tea with Scottish pastries. The breakfast options were accommodating and the staff made small changes as requested. The location was convenient for visiting Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Galloway forest. it was a memorable and enjoyable experience.
