For our recent trip to Oban, we needed a convenient location near the ferry terminal. Corran House Guest House was perfect, just a short 5-10 minute walk away. We were warmly welcomed and given keys to a shed for our bikes. The room was spacious, with 4 comfortable beds and our own en-suite. The abundance of clean white towels was a nice touch. The guest house also had a well-equipped kitchen and a self-serve continental breakfast option. An added bonus was the neighboring restaurant, Markie Dans, which served the best fish and chips.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed at a guest house in a great location by the seafront in Oban. The public parking was conveniently available on both sides and reasonably priced. Despite the bar being located below the rooms, my room at the back was quiet all night. The lady at check-in was very welcoming and did her best to explain everything, despite being busy. The quilt on the bed was incredibly soft and cozy, just the way I like it. The room and bathroom were clean, and the communal kitchen facilities were excellent. There was also a lot of useful local information provided in leaflets.

On some occasions, the staff at the bar seemed quite busy, and there were instances when the door code didn't work, and there was no one available to assist. Additionally, the toilet in my room didn't flush well, and it took a while for hot water to come through the shower.
