Arriving at Cote Ghyll Mill, I was pleasantly surprised by the recently refurbished and cozy atmosphere. Despite a hiccup with self-access, the comfortable bedsheets provided a great night's sleep. the common kitchen area offered vegan breakfast options, and the surrounding nature was beautiful. I'd recommend this hotel to others.

Staying at this hostel was a delightful experience. the recent refurbishment made it feel fresh and modern, standing out from other youth hostels. the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially after a long day of hiking. the lounge area was cozy and perfect for relaxing after a tiring day outdoors. We even got to dry out our wet clothes in the drying room, which was a lifesaver. the location of the hostel was ideal, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the beautiful countryside surroundings. the level of service and comfort exceeded our expectations.

It would have been great to have access to a catering service or at least be informed in advance about the limited food offerings.

Stunning location, beautiful building. Cosy lounge areas, good drying room. Convenient access to campsite shop. Lovely cooked breakfast at reasonable price. Great for exploring North York Moors. Short walk to village with three pubs. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent free wifi, no mobile signal

We had a great Xmas stay at this hotel. the location was perfect, with lovely walks nearby. the staff were friendly and check-in was quick and easy. the best part was the clean and well-maintained toilet facilities, which were almost unused!
