Charming local environment with beautiful gardens.

Unfortunately, our experience was marred by various issues. The bed in our room was advertised as a superior double, but it felt very much like a poorly assembled twin configuration that caused discomfort throughout the night. Moreover, the breakfast service was lackluster, with long waits and a feeling of being forgotten among the crowd. Many basic expectations were not met, and it seemed difficult for staff to handle the volume of guests adequately.

Charming room, delightful amenities, free parking made our stay enjoyable, and I especially loved the rejuvenating spa treatments that left me feeling relaxed and refreshed.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's thoughtful touch for my wife's birthday—an artistic plate with chocolates made her day extra special! The staff was friendly, attentive, and the dinner was delightful.

We had some hiccups with the spa scheduling since we didn't book a slot in advance, missing that opportunity. Also, the cream tea was a bit lacking in the jam department—but nothing major.

The staff's attentiveness was a major highlight. they went above and beyond by carrying luggage up three flights and ensuring a seamless experience. Dinner at the restaurant was impressive, showcasing beautifully flavored dishes that reflected careful attention to detail. However, the overall ambiance felt outdated, with frayed carpets and an uninviting bar area that detracted from the experience. While the room was clean and comfortable, it lacked the luxury expected at this price point.

The staff showed exceptional attentiveness, going above and beyond to assist with our luggage, which made our arrival much smoother. Dinner was a highlight, showcasing high-quality dishes that impressed our group, though breakfast could’ve included more family-friendly options. However, the light switches in the room were confusing, detracting from some of the modern touches.

It was just a fitting option for a transient visit in Chipping Campden with the best value for money ratio. The restaurant/bar staff were superb, and one of them was especially attentive and made my experience enjoyable. Make sure to book any spa treatments in advance.

We stayed for a night, and the quirky room was a fun surprise! The staff were super friendly, especially in the bar where we had some awesome cocktails. Afternoon tea was a highlight with delicious treats and a nice variety of teas. Just wish the lounge chairs by the pool were a bit comfier!
