The location of the hotel was fantastic, with just a short walk into town and free parking available. It was convenient to explore the city and visit local restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had taxis when needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and the cleaning service was excellent.

The room was a bit cramped for the price we paid, and there was no tea or coffee maker provided. The bathroom was small, and the shower was not very good - it even stopped working at one point.

As young holiday goers, we loved the comfortable beds and good shower. The lounge with a big log fire and numerous sofas and armchairs was welcoming and cosy. The bar was comfortable and had a great atmosphere. The location was excellent, with only a brisk 10-minute walk to the town center and good pubs along the way. The hotel also had its own car park, which was a real bonus. The staff were pleasant and always smiling. the facilities and amenities were great for a reasonably priced hotel.

My wife and I recently stayed at Cotswold Lodge for our 40th Anniversary. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, especially Anne Marie. The outside terrace area of the bar was a lovely spot for an evening drink, and the restaurant served an excellent dinner. The management was kind enough to move us to a ground floor room, considering my recent hip replacement. Afternoon tea was delightful and the chef's risotto was the best I've ever tasted. The breakfast service and location were also top-notch, and the ample car parking was convenient. We were even upgraded to a room with a large bed. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at a hotel not far from the city center. Although some areas looked a bit dowdy, the room was comfortable and nicely appointed. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The service was outstanding and the staff was polite, welcoming and very helpful. The light breakfast in the restaurant was reasonably priced. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated courtyard garden over a cup of tea and some biscuits which were complimentary in the room. What a nice touch!

There was a function on the night we stayed which had very loud music.
