I had a truly wonderful stay at this lovely thatched cottage. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, making it feel cozy and welcoming. The cottage had all the necessary facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and comfy sofas in the lounge. The private parking was a great convenience, allowing easy access to the nearby attractions. The location was perfect, with a variety of local attractions, such as gardens, National Trust properties, and picturesque walking paths. The staff, Dawn and Steve, were extremely helpful and provided excellent communication, ensuring a delightful experience.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and well maintained, with attention to detail and thoughtful touches like complimentary bathing products and sanitary products. The rooms were spacious, especially the bedrooms, and the bathrooms were large and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with a lovely cottage style. Plus, having off-road private parking was a big bonus.

The owner's response to a small issue we had with a decorative item being broken by our child was extremely rude and unacceptable. They blamed us from the start and showed no willingness to negotiate or find an amicable resolution.

The communication with the owner was very helpful and timely. The cottage was exceptionally well presented with attention to detail. The 5* rating for cleanliness was well deserved. The location is perfect for visiting most areas of the Cotswolds. The village has a great pub within walking distance.
